Control systems. The operating system of a luxury home.
By Mike Restrepo, Owner · Restrepo Innovations
A control system is the operating system of a luxury home. Done well, it disappears into the architecture and gives the family one consistent way to use lighting, audio, video, climate, shading, security, and the network. Done poorly, it is the most expensive frustration money can buy. The difference is engineering, programming, and the patience to do both before installation, not after.
Restrepo Innovations designs, programs, and supports Crestron as an Elite Pro Crestron Dealer, along with Josh.ai for voice and URC for select commercial work. Savant and Control4 projects are delivered through Restrepo Group partner firms. We have no allegiance to a single brand. We specify the platform that fits how the family lives, what the architect has drawn, and how the home will grow over the next decade.
This pillar is the index. Below you will find every Restrepo article on control-system selection, programming, and integration. Architects, builders, and homeowners can use it as a reference. If you have a question that is not covered, ask us directly.
