The Cameo 2 keypad family is our default residential lighting interface. Where other integrators specify whichever keypad ships fastest, we have standardized on Cameo 2 for residential deployments because its build quality, finish range, and programming flexibility set a standard the rest of the category has not matched.

Cameo 2 faceplates are precision-machined metal -- not injection-molded plastic dressed to look like metal. Available finishes include brushed bronze, satin nickel, matte black, white, and custom anodized options for projects where the keypad must match a specific architectural specification. Button configurations run from 1 to 8 buttons per plate, with programmable backlight color and intensity, and custom scene-button engraving available for every installation. When a keypad is going to be on the wall for the next twenty years, the details matter.

Cameo 2 pairs natively with Crestron Home processors -- the CP4-R and MC4-R -- which means scene logic, occupancy response, and whole-system integration are handled inside the same programming environment as every other subsystem in the building. There is no translation layer, no third-party driver, and no firmware mismatch risk. The keypad is a first-class element of the system, not an accessory bolted onto it.

Cameo 2 is specified across our residential, commercial, hospitality, and government installations -- with Cameo 2 as the residential default and Horizon Keypad for commercial deployments. Both lines are programmed from the same Crestron architecture, which means a client transitioning a residential project to a mixed-use or commercial application does not require a platform change. Crestron motorized shading systems. roller, roman, drapery track, and exterior. programmed against solar position, room occupancy, and scene logic. Shades are not a separate remote in a Crestron environment; they are a controlled element of the same scene that drives lighting, HVAC, and audio. Daylight harvesting sequences balance shade position with artificial lighting to maintain consistent illuminance throughout the day.

Distributed Audio

Multi-zone, multi-source audio distribution across an entire residence, estate, or commercial floor plate using Crestron DM NAX networked audio. Streaming services, local media libraries, and source components route to any zone with full metadata, zone-specific EQ, and synchronized playback for entertaining configurations. Outdoor zones, bathroom zones, and pool-area audio are treated as first-class zones. not afterthoughts.

Distributed Video

Crestron DM and DM NVX video-over-IP distribution delivering 4K HDR content from a centralized source rack to every display in the property. Cable boxes, streaming devices, 4K Blu-ray, and video conferencing sources route to any display with uniform control. In commercial environments, DM NVX supports large-format video walls, digital signage, and broadcast room routing with frame-accurate switching.

Audio and Video Conference Rooms

Crestron Flex UC platforms integrated with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Webex for certified conference room deployment. Touch panel control, automatic room start/stop, camera presets, microphone gain control, and shade/lighting presets tied to meeting state. The Restrepo Group commissions boardrooms, huddle spaces, and executive conference environments where one-touch meeting start is the baseline expectation.

Building Management and HVAC Control

Crestron integrates with BACnet, Modbus, and manufacturer-specific HVAC platforms to bring climate control, air handlers, radiant heating, snow-melt, pool equipment, and whole-building energy management into the same programming fabric as lighting and audio. In commercial buildings, this extends to access control, elevator dispatch status, and security system integration.
