The decisions about room treatment and speaker position have to be made before the walls close. The Speaker System
Grimani’s speaker lineup covers the full Dolby Atmos format: main channel towers, center channel, surround channels, Atmos overhead speakers, and a subwoofer system designed for multiple-sub array deployment. The multiple-sub approach. placing four subwoofers in specific positions determined by the room modeling. produces dramatically more even bass response across the listening area than a single or dual subwoofer configuration. The difference is not subtle. A client who has sat in a properly configured multiple-sub installation does not voluntarily return to a single-sub system. Calibration
After installation and room treatment, Grimani’s calibration process uses reference measurement microphones at multiple seat positions to verify that the installed system meets its design targets. Parametric equalization is applied at the processor to correct any residual room-induced coloration. Reference level is set per Dolby’s specifications, and a structured listening evaluation confirms that the system is performing as designed before it is handed to the client. This calibration phase is an integral part of commissioning day. the step where every element of the design is verified before the client takes ownership.
