The Restrepo Process

How we work with BVI clients.

Discovery begins with a detailed consultation at no cost. BVI projects require more thorough upfront discovery than mainland projects because the logistical cost of errors is significantly higher. Restrepo engineers gather comprehensive information about the property location, connectivity environment, power infrastructure, occupancy pattern, and the full scope of the project. Island Media Systems contributes island-specific logistics context from the first conversation, including the shipping and transport conditions that govern what equipment can be specified and when it will arrive.

Installation is planned with BVI logistics at the center of the project schedule. Island Media Systems manages all shipping, ferry or barge transport, and on-site staging. Restrepo provides a complete documentation set that minimizes site decisions. because every unplanned on-site question in a remote BVI location carries a logistical cost. Commissioning is conducted jointly, with remote management documentation and a detailed system manual delivered at handover.

After handover, Island Media Systems provides local service response and Restrepo provides remote engineering support from Franklin Lakes, NJ.
