Can I self-program Crestron?

Self-programming Crestron is technically possible but requires significant proficiency in SIMPL Windows or SIMPL Sharp, Crestron's proprietary programming environments. These are not point-and-click tools. Writing a residential program that handles multi-room AV, lighting logic, and climate correctly takes weeks of structured learning before the code is reliable. Most clients hire a certified dealer.
